Nordstrom Sale 2024 Travel Finds (luggage & clothing)
Remember when the entire month of July meant your Instagram feed was bombarded by bloggers sharing their “top N-Sale finds” but it was really a list of hundreds of items and links? This is not that. Honestly, the sale has gone a bit downhill but there are still a few hidden gems.
Since this is a travel blog, let me help you find the best travel items from the 2024 Nordstrom Sale. There is a great opportunity to save hundreds on travel items. Especially big-ticket items like luggage.
Whether it is good or bad, the sale has not changed much over the years, which means I already own and have tested out most of these items. So trust me when I tell you these items are good (and last a long time).

Luggage
1. Matching Luggage Set: Beis is one of the most popular and trendy luggage brands and I was very surprised to see it on the sale. Nothing screams “put together” like a matching set of luggage on a travel day. This is an excellent deal on their popular carry on bag, spacious duffel bag, and small travel purse.
This luggage is amazing quality and is sure to last a long time. The only downside to the light pink color is it will get scratched and stained from travel. But hey, luggage is meant to be used and a little wear just means you’re well-traveled.
Not to spoil the rest of this article, but if I had to choose the #1 thing I’m most excited to buy from the Nordstrom sale, this luggage set would be it. I’ve heard a lot of hype around it so it will probably sell out quickly.
2. Belt Bag: My favorite travel bag is my Lululemon belt bag. It holds the perfect amount of stuff, including my wallet, sunnies, passport, and a lip-gloss. I also feel like my belongings are more secure when strapped right to my body.
That’s why I’m eying this neutral checkered belt bag from Hershel Supply Co on the sale. I love that it has a neutral color to go with all outfits and fun pattern to make it more stylish.
3. Carry-On Tote: I bought a Longchamp tote around 10 years ago in Venice and still use it all the time. It’s the perfect size for all your carryon essentials and easily fits in the under seat area of a plane. What makes it super travel friendly is that it folds in on itself to be super compact when you aren’t using it.
Plus, its designer if you’re feeling a little bougie.
4. Duffel: I love a good duffel bag for a weekend trip or overnight stay. This one is super cute, fits a ton of stuff, and matches the above belt bag if you’re going for a matching moment.
If you prefer a pop of color, this one is also a great option. Plus, it has a shoe department so your dirty sneakers don’t touch your clothes.
Toiletries
1. Sunscreen: They say to wear sunscreen every day to help protect your skin from damage and aging. When I’m at home behind my screen I usually ignore this. But on vacation when I am actually seeing the light of day, I am religious about applying it.
This supergoop kit is perfect for travel because it is high quality and below the liquid requirement to carry on the plane. Plus, the sunscreen stick is a great way to pack sunscreen that won’t explode all over when you’re at altitude on an airplane.
2. Toiletry Bag: This bag is super cute and compact to store all of your travel-size toiletries.
3. Travel-Size Skin Care: Although this Kiels skincare bundle was not created for travel, it is perfect because all of the items are travel-sized. This way you can pack a full skincare routine without having to transfer your normal products to messy travel containers.
4. Blow Dry Brush: My suitcase is always packed full. The biggest item I usually run out of room for is my hair tools. It is way too bulky to fit a hair dryer, straightener, and curler. That’s why I love a blow dry brush like this one from Drybar. It can give you a blowout or bouncy curls (just watch a couple Youtube videos to learn how).
Travel Day Outfits
1. Socks & Eye Mask: There is a lot of controversy online about whether you should take your shoes off on a flight. Well on a long-haul flight, I cannot resist, which is why these fuzzy socks are perfect.
I love that this set also comes with an eye mask for sleeping on the plane or even in a bright hotel room. Plus, it comes with a cute case for packing.
2. Matching Set: There’s nothing I love more for a travel day than a matching set. It’s the perfect way to make basically a sweatsuit look put together and fashionable.
This matching set is made by barefoot dreams which is basically the softest material ever. I already have their blanket, fuzzy socks, and couple cardigans so I think it is time to add a set to the mix.
3. Comfy Sweatshirt: On the same lines as above, comfort is key for a long travel day outfit. I love the oversized fit and purple color of this sweatshirt.
4. Sneakers: I usually end up wearing sneakers on the plane because 1) I don’t like going through security with sandals and 2) they are usually my bulkiest item and won’t fit in my suitcase.
There are a lot of sneakers on the N-Sale if you are in the market. These Adidas Gazelle platforms are currently my most-worn sneaker because they are super comfortable for long days of walking and the platform gives a nice height boost to my 5’3 self.

Adventure Travel
1. Matching Workout Set: I just feel more put together when my workout sets match. It feels way fancier than my ratty college t-shirt and athletic shorts that I wear sometimes.
I already own these Zella joggers in two colors and they are so comfortable. Plus, they don’t pill at all, even after years of wear. Hmm do I need to get another color?
2. Active Backpack: I’ll be honest, these backpacks are kind of ugly. However, they are super practical for adventure travel to hold all your day trip essentials like snacks, water, sunscreen, and other tools.
3. Sneakers: My Hokas are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. They are a bit pricey, so it’s a great opportunity to get them on sale.
This year, I’m in the market for some On Cloud shoes. I’ll probably end up trying them all but can let you know what I think.
